No Loose Braids & Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe Come Together for Cranberry Day

A day of celebration amongst the people of Martha's Vineyard:

For thousands of years, cranberries have been an important staple of the Aquinnah Wampanoag people of Martha's Vineyard. It has been commonplace for Sasumaneash, or "sour berries", to be harvested, eaten, and sold to neighboring communities. This year's harvest was bountiful and an excellent opportunity for the Aquinnah community to gather in celebration.
