Drum stick & Rattle Workshop

On Saturday, March 14th, we gathered for the second part of our Drum Workshop, coming together to complete our drum sets through drum stick and rattle making. what began as awaking our traditional practices to life, it then wove into a deeper and more grounding setting: setting intentions, sharing meal, and building our community closer together.

This workshop was led with care and intention by No Loose Braids, in collaboration with Curtis Creations, and supported by a Mass Cultural Council grant. We are especially grateful to Pequoig Farm for their generous donation, which gifted us all with goods at the end of the day.

To everyone who participated, and contributed your energy, Kuttabotomish! These moments of making, sharing, and being in community are what continue to carry this work forward.
