Aurora Lee
Aurora Lee (she/her/hers) is a multidisciplinary artist from the Merina people of Madagascar, and joined as an Administrative Assistant for No Loose Braids.
Her artistic practice in dance, visual arts, and storytelling is grounded in the healing potential of somatic movement. Aurora is pursuing a certification to develop trauma-informed somatic healing dance workshops, committed to creating safe, expressive spaces where bodies and emotions are honored.
Aurora has worked with Company One Theatre and Double Edge Theatre, and served at the Ohketeau Cultural Center, the only Native-run organization in Western Massachusetts. Through these collaborations, she strengthens her capacity to support cultural heritage initiatives, amplify marginalized voices, and facilitate resilience in community settings.
